Psychotherapy in Munich-Obersendling

When anxiety, low mood or exhaustion shape your everyday life, you need a place where you can look at it calmly. I work systemically: with a view to your story, your relationships and what already gives you support today.

At a glance
  • Individual sessions of 60, 90 or 120 minutes
  • In the practice or online
  • In German or English
  • Paid privately, not billed to statutory health insurance (possibly covered by supplementary insurance)

Why people come to me

Anxiety and worry

Constant tension, overthinking, panic or the fear of no longer coping with demands.

Low mood

Lack of energy, withdrawal and the feeling that things have lost their colour.

Exhaustion

When work, studies or caring for others have taken more strength than they gave over a long time.

Life crises and loss

Separation, illness, the death of someone close or an upheaval that shakes everything.

Recurring patterns

Conflicts that repeat in every relationship: where they come from and how you can deal with them.

Finding direction

When a decision is due and you are not sure what you really want.

Family of origin

Roles and loyalties from your childhood that still have an effect today.

Self-esteem

The feeling of always having to adapt, and the question of what you actually want.

Work and studies

Being overwhelmed, conflicts in a team, the wish for change or a new start.

Systemic therapy understands that a person always acts within several systems. Depending on the context and on who we are dealing with, we behave differently and take on different roles. All of this, together with our personality, makes us who we are.

When such a system tips out of balance, comparable to a mobile that loses its balance, it needs a new alignment. Often it is exactly these challenges and dead ends that open up the chance to take a new perspective and to grow. Discovering or reactivating your own resources and strengths is an important part of this process.

In therapy we include influences such as your family of origin and current relationship patterns in order to work out solutions. Some ways of behaving that were necessary in the past are no longer needed today. In our conversations they can be recognised and replaced with something that fits better.

When your own behaviour changes, it affects how you think and act, and often how the people around you do, too.

How I work

SystemicWe look not only at the symptom but at the people and circumstances around it: family, work, background, roles.
Resource-orientedYou bring abilities that have become invisible in the crisis. We make them visible again.
At your paceYou decide what we talk about, how often we meet and when it is enough.
Good to know

I work on the basis of a state licence under the German Heilpraktikergesetz, limited to the field of psychotherapy (granted by the Landratsamt Starnberg in 2022). I am not a licensed psychological psychotherapist (Psychologische Psychotherapeutin). Sessions are paid privately; statutory health insurance does not cover them. Some private and supplementary insurances contribute, so please check with yours in advance. All sessions are confidential.

In an acute crisis

If you are in an acute emergency, please contact the Krisendienst Psychiatrie crisis line (0800 655 3000), the Telefonseelsorge helpline (0800 111 0111) or, in an emergency, 112. My practice does not provide emergency care and cannot be reached around the clock.
